Great new pub. I was there for a pint today. They have a few pub favorites. Kilkenny, tenants, Newcastle and Guiness. The atmosphere is great, food smells fantastic. Owner Johnathan very hospitable and friendly. Ask him about how the pub got its name. Well worth the visit.

I had the oven roasted Brussels sprouts and steak sandwich with Caesar salad side. Both dishes were delicious. I appreciate nothing was over salted and everything was fresh. The steak in the steak sandwich was a whole steak and cooked to perfection. It was tender and not chewy at all! Not to mention the owner who kept checking on us to ensure our food was ok. The Brussels sprouts could be a little crispier, but overall a very satisfying “home made” meal. My companions also had their delicious French onion soup that was made from scratch. They ordered their pizzas too that I was told was good, but nothing special. So overall I would recommend ordering their appetizers and mains if it’s your first time visiting.

Wife and I came here for a lunch. Served by Jonathan who I believe was the owner. Super nice gentleman. What we ordered he wasn’t pleased with the ingredients he had so he warned us that it’ll take some time since he was going to the market straight away to grab fresher since he wanted us to have a great experience. We didn’t mind the wait and honesty. When we got the food it was amazing! Best Yorkshire and mussels I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back again!

A group of us went for Brunch, I wasn't up for what was on the brunch menu and opted for the pepperoni pizza, made fresh and baked in wood fired oven, served hot, just great. A pint of Guiness is always a great partner. One of the servers failed to show up so they were short staffed, but management stepped in and picked things up. Good on them. We were made to feel welcome, and I'll be going back.

Been three times to the Moody. Beer is cold and fresh. Service from Lily is attentive, friendly, professional and she is a joy to be around. Owner Jonathan works really hard to make sure you have a great experience. Handcrafted pizza is the specialty, and it is good. My 4 star on the atmosphere is just due to the somewhat harsh bar stools. Other than that, you won't be disappointed!

Amazing late night tablecloth service Michelin (imo) level food from this lovely quaint and cozy pub! Our bartender/server Lily is literally LEGIT Dishes we ordered are completely house-made that makes it a homey touch. Keep up the amazing work y’all serving York Region!

Came here for an impromptu lunch. The owner Jonathan is very friendly and greeted us as soon as we came in. Highly recommend the oven baked pizzas. Good vibe if you're into sports as there was a game on. A convenient spot for a meal!

I’ve known the owner for a little while now, he comes in the store I work at, and thought I try his place out. I was not disappointed in bit. Food was very good, and service was awesome. Definitely a place to go and check out!!!
